| Why are you passionate about newborn care? |
I love educating new families and supporting them as they get to know their new baby.

| What is the greatest compliment you’ve ever received from a client? |
Several clients have told me that I have a very calm demeanor and presence. My mind is always assessing several things at a time so I love that I am able to bring a calm atmosphere to clients while handling multiple tasks.

| What do you enjoy about working with new families? |
love the excitement of watching new parents as their baby does something new. As simple as a little smirk while they’re sleeping. Everything is new and it’s wonderful to witness a parent experience that joy for the first time.

| Let’s talk newborns: what is your favorite part about caring for newborns? |
How quickly they grow! If you don’t see them for a week you’ll feel like you’re seeing a totally different baby.

| What is next for you? Are you preparing for a new certification or training event? |
Next month I will be taking a Child Passenger Safety Technician training and this fall I will be taking a training to become a Certified Lactation Couselor.

| What is one fun fact about yourself? |
I typically bike to work everyday weather permitting and like to run 2-3 half marathons per year.
